Dear friends,

We have some important news to share about the journey of our beloved game, Moomin: Puzzle & Design. We have worked hard to create a fun, cozy, adventurous puzzle game. Unfortunately, we have come to the conclusion that, despite our best efforts, the game isn’t where we want it to be. Therefore, it’s with a heavy heart that we announce the game’s development is coming to an end, and it will be discontinued on April 11th, 2024. 

We want to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible adventure we’ve been able to share with you all. Your enthusiasm and support have been the heart of this community, and we appreciate each and every piece of feedback you have left for us over the course of the Soft Launch, whether it has been on our social media channels, through reviews, or via Player Support. 

Here at Rovio, we hold the highest of standards for all of the games we put out in the world, and unfortunately, Moomin: Puzzle & Design didn’t quite reach the standard we set for ourselves. Our aim was to create a game that you could enjoy for years to come and eagerly return to, whether your goal was to clear the most puzzles or find out more about Moomintroll and his friends and family. We didn’t quite fulfill the set expectations, and that’s why we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Moomin: Puzzle & Design. 

This means that all in-app purchases have been turned off. Update 3.1.2 will be the final update to the game, though the servers will continue to stay online until July 8th, 2024. 

Players who have made any purchases in the last 30 days will have a limited-time offer to transfer the purchases to Rovio’s Angry Birds Dreamblast. For that, please contact our Player Support team through the Support section in the Settings of the game.

Thank you for going on this moominous journey with us. We truly appreciate all the moments we have shared with all of you in our community and the feedback you have given us over the Soft Launch period and beyond.
