What are Clan Battles?

Clan Battles are an exciting competitive feature where your Clan can go head-to-head against other Clans, striving to showcase your strength and secure fantastic rewards!

How do I join a Clan Battle?

To participate in a Clan Battle, your Clan leader or a co-leader must accept the challenge from the Events panel on the main Clan screen. The sign-up period lasts for 24 hours. Keep in mind that your Clan must have a minimum of five members to be eligible for participation. If a player joins your Clan after a battle has already commenced, they won't be able to take part and will have to wait for the next opportunity.

How do clan battles work?

Once the challenge is accepted, your Clan will be matched against another Clan with a similar number of members and Clan Power. The competition is on! All players will be playing on an equal footing, striving to achieve the highest score possible. Every participant from both Clans will be ranked on a leaderboard based on their scores, and they will earn Golden Eggs accordingly. At the end of the Battle, the Clan with the most Golden Eggs will emerge as the victor! The winning Clan members have 24 hours to claim their well-deserved rewards. Make sure not to miss the claim window! In case of a tie, the Clan with the player boasting the highest score will be declared the winner. Each battle extends over a period of 3 days.

How do the rewards work?

The rewards your Clan receives are determined by the rank of the highest-ranked Clan in the battle. The higher their rank, the better the rewards for all participants! Even if your Clan defeats an opponent with a higher rank, you will still receive rewards equal to their rank. For example, if your Clan is silver rank and you defeat a gold rank opponent, your Clan will still be rewarded as if they were gold rank.

How does matchmaking work in Clan Battles?

The matchmaking takes into account these three points:

  1. Clans must have a similar Flockpower. Only your Clan's base Flockpower is taken into consideration, which consists of your 8 most powerful birds (even if you don’t have them in your current chosen flock) and your slingshot level. Individual hat power or event boosts, Hatchling, and Boosters will not be taken into account.
  2. Clans must have a similar number of players in their current Battle roster.
  3. You can not be matched against the same opponent twice in a row.

If the system is unable to find a perfect match for your Clan, it will extend the search criteria until an opponent is found. This means that sometimes, you might end up facing a tougher or a weaker opponent than usual, but it's all in the spirit of keeping the Clan Battles going. So, embrace the challenge and enjoy the fun, no matter who you face!

I didn't get the bonus card for Mighty Eagle Bootcamp after winning!

You can win a third bonus card for the Mighty Eagle Bootcamp by playing Clan Battles, similar to how you win the other two bonus cards from the Daily Challenge and King Pig Panic. The only condition for that is your clan needs to be at least the diamond rank at the moment of victory.

In other words, to be eligible for the 3rd Mighty Eagle Bootcamp card your Clan needs a total combined Flock Power of 20,000 which would place you in the Diamond League.

Our opponent cheated!

If you suspect that the Clan you played against engaged in cheating or exploitation, you can report it to Rovio by submitting a ticket through Support. Be sure to include the Clan's name, the battle's timestamp, and any other relevant information incuding screenshots. If the opposing Clan is found guilty of cheating, your Clan will receive appropriate compensation as a resolution.

So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and show the world why your Clan belongs to the top! 👑
