Please be aware that choosing to delete your data will result in a permanent removal of all your game progress, and this action cannot be reversed.
To access or erase your data, follow these steps:
- Tap on a gears icon in the lower-left corner of the main flock screen to open up the settings.
- Look for the Terms and Privacy button in the bottom right corner. For iOS players, you can use the "Erase Data" shortcut instead, if you're looking to erase your data.
- Once you hit that button, you'll be taken to our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. There, you can request a summary of personal data or ask for personal data erasure. Scroll down to find these options.
- Follow the instructions provided and the respective procedure will start shortly.
Keep in mind that saying goodbye to your data means saying goodbye to your purchases too. When requesting a data erasure, your purchases will not be refunded to you and you will not be able to transfer them to another account. All content purchased with real world currency will be lost.
After you've requested a data deletion, a 2-week waiting period will commence. This is a technical step that can not be skipped, and you will not be able to enter game during this time. If you change your mind about the data deletion during this period, please send us a message at Player Support.
Other frequently asked questions:
I got permanently banned. Can I still request data deletion?
If your Angry Birds 2 account was terminated due to breaches of our Terms of Service, we can't grant your data deletion request. We'll need to keep the data for contractual necessity.
Why does the game request access to my data storage when installing it?
Depending on your device's OS, the game may request access to your photos, media, and storage. We're only interested in the 'storage' part. The game needs this access because of application size restrictions before downloading. So, you might have to download more files to run the game smoothly, and that's why Angry Birds 2 needs that access.
Angry Birds 2 will never access the personal files on your device. If you've denied this permission, you'll have to manually allow it from your device's settings to play the game.
