What is the Space Event?

The Space Event is a limited-time feature where you'll blast off into an epic cosmic adventure! A mysterious spaceship has stolen your precious eggs through a purple portal, and you'll need to chase them across the galaxy. Experience brand-new gameplay with gravity-defying mechanics, challenging space levels, and exciting weekly events!

Event Duration: October 24 - November 20, 2025

How Do I Access Space Levels?

You need to reach Level 10 in Saga to unlock the Space Event.

Once unlocked, you can access Space levels through the "Space" button on your main screen or Saga map.

What's New in Space?

Revolutionary Gravity Mechanics

Space introduces an entirely new way to play! Instead of Earth's gravity pulling everything down, you'll navigate planets with their own gravitational fields that pull birds, blocks, and pigs in different directions.

Two Types of Planets

Planets (Blue gravity field)

  • Your typical planet; it has all the classics.

  • It will pull objects toward the center and create orbital paths around the planet.

  • They are perfect for curving shots around obstacles.

Alternate Planets (Orange gravity field with outward-moving rings)

  • A unique and rarer planet type.

  • These planets obey pig physics and push objects away from their center.

  • They are useful for reaching distant targets, especially when the slingshot finds itself positioned on the planet’s surface.

New Obstacles & Hazards

Black Holes

  • Strongly pull anything nearby towards them and allow for much faster curving of birds.

  • Use them strategically to slingshot birds around obstacles.

  • Great for hitting towers from unexpected angles

Laser Beams

  • Instantly destroy any bird that touches them

  • Harmless to pigs and tower structures

  • Pro Strategy: Topple towers so debris falls through lasers to hit structures you can't reach directly

  • Watch out: some of them move so plan your shots!

Moving Asteroids

  • Space rocks that move in predictable patterns

  • Time your shots carefully to avoid collisions

  • Watch their movement before you fling

Spiky Asteroids

  • Static red & dangerous-looking surfaces

  • Instantly destroys anything on contact (birds, blocks, and pigs)

  • Plan your shots to avoid these deadly zones

Space Tower Platforms

Towers in Space float on special platforms with:

  • A glowing base that holds structures up

  • An atmosphere bubble around them

  • Important: Birds can pass through the platform base to attack from below!

  • Pigs can breathe inside the atmosphere but will freeze and pop if pushed out into space

How Do Bird Abilities Work in Space?

Most birds work the same way while being affected by planetary gravity

Special Space Rules:

Chuck

  • His speed boost fires him in a straight line, just like in other modes.

  • Use this to zip between planets or punch through obstacles

Silver

  • Her loop-de-loop always sends her down toward the bottom of your screen, just like in other modes.

  • Still creates a shockwave when she hits surfaces

Matilda

  • Flies up and pushes her egg down, relative to normal gravity

  • Both Matilda and her egg are affected by planetary gravity but Matilda pushes her egg downwards rather than just dropping it, so it will head straight down first, before being affected by the gravity after a couple of seconds.

Top Tips for Mastering Space

1. Practice Makes Perfect

Space levels are challenging! If you're new to the game, try regular world-map levels first. They gradually introduce the mechanics before you face the toughest Space puzzles.

2. Master the Orbital Mechanics

Plan your shots carefully - Birds will start orbiting the first planet they reach and, if there are overlapping gravity fields, can cross to another planet’s gravity field more easily. If the gravity fields are separate, it might require a bit of extra aiming.

Curve your shots - WHERE you fling a bird into a gravity field changes its trajectory. Experiment with different entry points:

  • Entering at the edge creates wider orbits

  • Entering near the center creates tighter orbits

  • Use this to hit different parts of towers

Plan multi-planet shots - With practice, you can slingshot birds between multiple planets to reach tricky targets
