What are Power-Ups?

Power-Ups are strategic tools used to clear challenging levels, maximize destruction, and achieve higher scores. There are six types of Power-Ups: Wingman, Boombox, Birdquake, Sling Scope, King Sling, and Power Potion.

Are Power-Ups required to beat the game?

No, it is possible to beat all levels without using Power-Ups. However, they are highly recommended for achieving 3-star ratings on the most difficult levels. It is good practice to attempt a level without Power-Ups first to scout the structures and strategize.

How can I obtain Power-Ups?

  • Gameplay: Skilled play can earn back the Power-Ups you use.

  • Game Modes: Participating in Tournaments, Piggy-Matic, Star Cup, and Blue’s Tallest Tower rewards you with Power-Ups or Bird Coins.

  • Daily Rewards: Visit the game daily for a free Jackpot Wheel spin to gather Power-Ups or Bird Coins.

Power-Up Capabilities & Tips 👇

Power Potion

The Power Potion temporarily enlarges your bird for a single fling, increasing its collision damage and allowing it to push through larger structures.

  • Base Cost: 20 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 4 per level

  • Pro Tips: You can use this on the Boombox or Wingman to enlarge them. Pair it with the King Sling for high speed and mass. Note that giant birds are less effective in tight spaces, and missing your target will waste the effect.

King Sling

The King Sling upgrades your slingshot for the entire level. All launched birds will fly faster and farther, resulting in extra collision power.

  • Base Cost: 15 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 1 per level

  • Pro Tips: Combine it with the Sling Scope to better control the extra power. Keep in mind that the King Sling cannot be turned off once activated, making it less ideal for trick shots or portals that require gentle finesse.

Sling Scope

The Sling Scope acts as an aiming assistant. Once activated, it displays a dotted flight path showing exactly where your bird will go before you launch. It remains active for the rest of the level.

  • Base Cost: 10 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 1 per level

  • Pro Tips: This is highly recommended for tight shots, tricky angles, and for newer players mastering game physics. It pairs well with long-range tools like the King Sling or Diamond Sling, & let's you hit your mark the first time to avoid using more power-ups than necessary.

Birdquake

Birdquake shakes the entire level, causing unstable structures to collapse.

  • Base Cost: 15 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 2 per level

  • Pro Tips: Use it early in busy levels to trigger chain collapses. You can activate it twice ("double-tap") for extended shaking. Note that it will have little to no impact on highly sturdy structures, and debris falls unpredictably.

Boombox

The Boombox replaces your next bird with a TNT crate. It can explode on impact, or you can trigger its parachute mid-air to let it float down before detonating. Destroying the Boombox yields 500 points.

  • Base Cost: 25 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 2 per level

  • Pro Tips: Pair it with the Power Potion for a massive blast radius. It is highly effective for triggering chain TNT reactions or hitting targets like detonators behind thin, indestructible walls.

Wingman

Wingman is a heavy hitting & high damage power-up that smashes through almost any obstacle in his path. If you activate the Wingman but complete the level without using it, you will be awarded 10,000 points.

  • Base Cost: 30 Bird Coins

  • Maximum Usage: 2 per level

  • Pro Tips: Wingman gains speed as he destroys objects, which can cause him to overshoot; aiming lower at the base of towers yields safer, high-scoring results. Use the Sling Scope to plan your angle, and pair it with the Power Potion or King Sling for maximum structural damage.
