When you fill this meter, you will get a special bird boost by matching bubbles six times in a row. The Streak Meter will reset to zero if you fling a bubble without popping anything.

If you miss a shot or do not want to lose the bird boost, you can fill the meter instantly with coins by tapping the meter or the bird to open the purchase menu.
