Coins are an in-game currency which can be purchased in the game shop. You can access the shop by tapping the coin counter in the upper right corner of the screen.

Coins can also be earned in the game as a reward in the Grand Tunaments, and the Octo’s Plunder event. You can access these events when they are running from the events button on the map screen.
