Coins are in-game currency available for purchase in the in-game shop. To access the shop, tap the coin counter in the upper right corner.

Coins are also given out as a reward in the Grand Tunaments and the Octo's Plunder event. When these events are running, you can access them from the event buttons on the map screen.
