What is Tournament?

  • Tournament is a weekly event where you can compete against other players by completing levels and ranking on a leaderboard. You can compete against random players in a League, and if you connect the game to your Facebook account you can also play against your Facebook Friends

How do I unlock Tournament?

  • The Tournament game mode unlocks after you have reached the 10th floor of Piggy Tower (and unlocked all the birds). More info on Piggy Tower can be found here.
  • Once you've unlocked Tournament, you will go through a tutorial Tournament to get a better understanding of the game mode. When the tutorial is complete, you'll be able to start playing versus other players.

Tournament schedule + themes:

  • One single weekly Tournament consist of a few separate tournaments, lasting from 24h or longer (usually full days). You can always see the current tournament and its duration by checking the timer under "Tournament" in the main menu, or by going to the Tournament view and seeing the timer under the banner.

  • When a new tournament has started, you’ll see this clearly promoted on the main menu screen where the Tournament game mode is normally placed.
  • Tournament has a classic theme that is used on a regular basis, but in addition you’ll see various fun, colorful, and innovative themes that will make the experience feel new every time. New levels are released with every tournament, so you’ll find new content regularly.

Leagues, leaderboards + rewards:

  • Tournament has two leaderboards, a League Leaderboard and a Friends Leaderboard.
  • League Leaderboard consists of up to 40 random players who you're competing against.
  •  The Friends Leaderboard is where you can compete against your Facebook Friends; if you have no Facebook Friends, you'll only see the default birds.
  • After completing a level you will get placed on the leaderboards with other players. Based on your final leaderboard position, you'll get Bird Coin rewards and Trophies that are used to progress in the Leagues system.

  • The more levels you play, and the higher your score, the bigger your total score is for the tournament. This determines your position on the leaderboard. To know how many rewards and points you get from your leaderboard position, you need to complete at least one level in a tournament, and check the reward info next to your leaderboard placement.
  • Rewards are given when the Tournament concludes (keep an eye on the Tournament Timer to know when it ends).

  • You can find League info by going to the Tournament view and tapping on the "i" button next to the leaderboard league name. The information shows you what the different league ranks are, how many points you need to reach a specific one, and what additional rewards are included upon unlocking a new rank.
